EFR PS-N80 CO2 Laser Power Supply

Main Characteristics:
EFR PS-N60/N80 series of high-frequency CO2 laser power supply is the high-efficient, high-frequency, high-speed CO2 laser supporting power supply developed by our company. It has several advantages such as small size, light weight, easy to operate, good compatibility with the CO2 laser tube. And the power supply can connect to the CO2 laser tube directly, eliminating the hulking and high calorific ballast resistor. The laser power supply can make the CO2 laser tube easily starter, gives the laser tube’s full performance, conversion efficiency, and extend the life span.

2. Max. output voltage: DC 35KV(EFR PS-N80)
3. Max. output current:   DC 40mA

5. TTL electricity level switch control: valid electricity has high/low level choices
6. Protection control: test whether there is water or not, protect the laser tube; or protection when the shell is open.
7. Laser power adjustment:
(1) The potentiometer regulates the power supply’s output currency.
  (2) Controlled by the PWM.
8. EFR power supply has a feedback port, so it can be used for closed-loop control. And it also can be used for checking the actual operating current of laser tubes.

Use instruction:
Wire Ends Connection
1 HL, 2 TL, 3 WP, 4 G, 5 IN, 6 5V

(1)End 6 is 5voltage (no use when connect mother board, used for power adjustment by potentiometer, 5V current is less than 30mA)
(2)TH. TL is H and L level, WP is water protection
(3)End 4 G is ground, 5 is input controller
(4)When connect mother board, if laser comes in high level pls connect laser signal to end 1, if laser comes in low level pls connect laser singal to end 2, ground to end
4, power control signal to end5, chiller to end 3 and 4 (for water protection)
(5)End 5 can also be PWM, but the pulse peak should reach 5V, frequency more than20K
(6)When test, 2.3.4. Short cut (or 3.4 short cut, 2.3 to switch) potentiometer center to end 5, the other two ends of IN to 5V and ground (4 and 60)
(7)If laser controlled in hight level, pls connect end 1 and 4, 3 and 4 for water protection.
(8)DO NOT suggest control laser power in high frequency, because it will reduce laser life.
(9)Voltage: EFR PS-N80 power supply need 220V AC/50HZ input, 110V AC available
(10)Additional: EFR PS-N80 has protection switch, can be connected to water protection and laser machine door open protection.

Note: this manual is for PS-N60/N80, but the current must be adjusted according to laser tube manual

Attention:
1 Water cooling must be on during laser tube working
2 High voltage output can not be open-loop (high voltage cathode and anode must be connected to laser tube cathode and anode correctly)
3 The power supply itself has bleed resistor, will discharge the voltage in 2 seconds, but must pay attention to avoid electricity attack. (the two ends of high voltage output must be match 40KV insulation safety request)
EFR PS-N80 power supply must be connected to 3 phase socket with ground connected. The frame must be connected to ground!
